Terms & Conditions

  1. Services: We offer group dog training classes, private lessons, service dog lessons, and evaluations to cater to the unique needs of our clients. Some of these services can be purchased in packages, memberships, or subscriptions. These credits may only be used for the purchased service and expire one year after purchase. Group class credits may not be used for American Kennel Club courses unless otherwise specified.

  2. Client Obligations: Clients are required to arrive on time and maintain focus during classes/sessions/lessons. Accurate information about the pet must be provided, and clients are responsible for their pet's behavior at all times. Adherence to training guidelines, homework, or any other guidance we may provide outside of classes/sessions/lessons is crucial for successful training outcomes. All dogs are required to have up to date vaccinations for service. These vaccinations include at minimal rabies, parvo, and bordetella/distemper. Although it is not required, we recommend obtaining canine influenza. Reach The Stars Dog Training has the right to request updated records at any time while you are training with us. In the event that any of the client's pets come down with an illness, the client is responsible for alerting us as soon as possible for our trainer's safety and the safety of all the other animals we work with. Failure to alert us of any known illnesses may result in the termination of your contract at the trainer's discretion. If your pet has any deadly illnesses that spread due to lack of alerting us may have legal repercussions if it is determined the client was aware of the illness.

  3. Pricing and Refunds:

    1. Service: The pricing displayed on our website is subject to change after evaluating your dog's specific needs. Quotes provided are valid for 30 days. A full refund is available for contract termination within three days of signing or until the first session, whichever comes first. After this period, a prorated refund is available for terminated contracts until the end of the third session. No refunds are provided for evaluations.

    2. Merchandise: Because most of our products are custom-made to order, all sales are final. Please contact us directly for shipping damage or misprints admin@reach-the-stars.com.

    3. Training supplies: This includes treats, toys, and all other products purchased while the trainer is in the home. All sales are final once we leave the property. We only sell the highest quality products, and we have personally reviewed your product before sales or in person with you at the time of sale.

  4. Liability and Responsibility: Clients are responsible for their pets at all times during classes and sessions. This includes any financial obligations for damages or injuries caused by the pet, including injury to the trainer or property.

  5. Intellectual Property: All materials, including physical items, videos, and training materials, provided by us are for personal use only. Clients are prohibited from sharing, reproducing, or distributing these materials without prior written permission.

  6. Confidentiality: Any information shared by the client or observed by the trainer is kept confidential unless required by law or necessary for the safety of the client, the pet, other pets, or other individuals. In cases of suspected animal abuse or if the dog is injured as a result of animal abuse, we reserve the right to report the situation to law enforcement and terminate active contracts without a refund.

  7. Termination: Clients have the right to terminate their contract at any time, with refund qualifications as outlined in section 3. We reserve the right to terminate active contracts in cases of safety concerns or animal abuse. Additionally, if the client fails to follow the program, the trainer may exercise discretion in terminating the service.

  8. Legal Compliance: Our company complies with local and federal laws. Both the client and our company will make reasonable efforts to resolve any disputes before resorting to legal dispute resolution or court proceedings.

  9. Modifications to Terms: We reserve the right to modify or update the terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients and require their acknowledgment and acceptance of the contract.
